Book Review

A Curse of Fate is one of those books that grabs you by the collar, smirks, and says, “Trust me, you’re coming with me.” And honestly? Worth it. From page one, Jaymin Eve throws us into a world packed with magic, danger, snarky banter, and a main character who refuses to quietly accept her fate (thank goodness).

The heroine is smart, stubborn, and refreshingly sarcastic - aka exactly the kind of FMC you want when curses, destiny, and powerful supernatural beings are involved. The pacing is fast without feeling rushed, the world-building is intriguing without being info-dumpy, and the dialogue? Chef’s kiss. There’s tension, mystery, and just enough “wait…WHAT?” moments to keep you saying one more chapter at 2 a.m.

If you love paranormal fantasy with attitude, found family vibes, slow-burn tension, and plot twists that make you gasp and grin at the same time, A Curse of Fate delivers. Book 1 does a great job setting the stage, introducing the stakes, the magic, and the chaos, while leaving you desperately ready to dive straight into the next book. Fun, addictive, and dangerously bingeable.

Read it for the magic. Stay for the sass. Continue the series because you have zero self-control (and no regrets). ✨📖
