From page one, Jaymin Eve throws us into a world packed with magic, danger, snarky banter, and a main character who refuses to quietly accept her fate (thank goodness).

The heroine is smart, stubborn, and refreshingly sarcastic - aka exactly the kind of FMC you want when curses, destiny, and powerful supernatural beings are involved. The pacing is fast without feeling rushed, the world-building is intriguing without being info-dumpy, and the dialogue? Chef’s kiss.
